“Defend Malta” gives an excellent explanation of the patriotic sentiment against illegal immigration

The Facebook page “Defend Malta” put up the following post on its page:

The post says ‘I want to live in a Maltese Malta.’

And then, in a comment underneath the same post, “Defend Malta” explains and clarifies what it is meant by the post:

[And before a bootlicker opens his mouth, this does not mean that I do not want foreigners here in Malta. Malta has always had a small percentage of foreigners living here. The majority came from England, Italy, or other European countries. What I mean is that I do not want to live in a country where the Maltese nation is a minority. Where you feel like a foreigner in your own country. Where the minute you walk out of your house, you think you are in Mumbai, Mogadishu, or Manila. Anywhere you go, you do not find anyone who is Maltese.]
