MEP Christine Anderson is also at the forefront of speaking against the WHO Pandemic Treaty. She said:
“Since March 1stan intergovernmental negotiation group has been meeting to work out a timetable and a modus operandi for reshaping the contracts between the WHO and the Member States. These treaty changes aim to give the WHO – in the event of a pandemic – de facto governmental authority over member states without involving or consulting national governments or national parliaments.
This means that the rule of the people the basic principle of any democracy has been laid to rest. The composition of the WHO is not based on democratic elections. The decision-makers sitting there are then authorized to issue instructions to you but are not accountable to you and cannot be held politically responsible by you. People as citizens will then no longer even have any political influence on whom you entrust with the administration of fundamental rights.
If you give selective powers to a non-elected body then you no longer have democracy accountability of elected officials and who will the citizens hold accountable if their rights are taken away? In theory elected representatives run the risk of not being elected when they screw up. But for non-elected bodies the citizens have no recourse. This isn’t how democracy is supposed to work because you’re taking away the rule by the people for the people. This is what is at stake with this treaty. If this treaty goes through democracy is buried. WHO will have the right to call out a pandemic and once they do they will cease executive powers. So it’s not the governments who can impose restrictions on people that theoretically the people can still resist and fight but how can people go against the WHO?
People cannot drag it to court people can’t threaten to not re-elect it. WHO is funded by the richest of the super-rich people of the world. Democracy and human lives are not on their agenda. If they order people to stay inside as long as they tell you you have to.
They are counting on people to be demoralised to not get involved to not care so they will walk over you. Their goals are the abolition of democracy the removal of freedom and rights and the abolition of the rule of law.”
MEP Anderson has written to the EU Commission asking to what extent it would ensure that the principles of the people’s rule and the political responsibility of elected representatives are preserved and that citizens are not subjected to the arbitrariness of an unelected body and that further de-democratization is fostered here.
The answer she received to her question was clearly and briefly “Not at all”. Not a single time did the response even mention words like “citizen” “democracy” “rule of the people” or “political responsibility”.
I don’t think it will escape anyone’s notice that this attempt by the WHO to appropriate a power that properly belongs to individual nations is intended to prevent any kind of opposition given that the yielding of sovereignty is considered the crime of high treason by the laws of every nation and that parliaments may not legislate against the interests of the nation much less violate the natural liberties and fundamental rights of the citizens whom they represent.
And this is also one of the goals of the globalists: to take away the power from all countries and transfer that power to international institutions like the WHO which are controlled by the same globalists.
