The Labour government sells you the ‘new concert zone’ as another green project

From all things that Malta needs, Robert Abela and his government decided to adorn it with another useless project. But it is sold to you as another green project, because the word ‘green’ is coming in handy for the political liars.

We read that Prime Minister Robert Abela has “inaugurated a new concert zone at the Ta’ Qali National Park on Friday evening,” “a site on which previously there was a concrete factory and an illegal dumping site”.

“In a statement announcing the inauguration, the government described the venue as proof of its commitment to providing more green and open spaces for families.” Families? Is this a joke? Do you think a concert zone is a beautiful place for families to gather and kids to play and roam around? Any parking facilities for the families? Needless to say, such a concert zone will attract mass events. Robert Abela, no idiot is going to drag their strollers, infants, children, and hobbled in-laws to a concert that will make your ears pop. What kind of activities will be organized when there is more suitable space in Ta’ Qali National Park? Will the metamorphose of the spiritless boozing of the St. Patrick’s Day booze binge happen there annually by any chance? Or are you preaching as usual to the usual naive individuals from your matrix of illusion?

Money talks when bullshit walks. Who gives a hoot about a concert zone except all those organisers who make money out of them? Who gives a hoot about a concert zone except the drug and alcohol trade? Money talks while bullshit walks. And yet they sell it to you as a ‘park.’ It was never intended as a ‘park’ from the beginning but a money making machine for selected individuals. Create a multi-million space to encash the few but sell it as a green project for the people to enjoy. And yet, it is green. Wait and see what will happen post MEP elections with the word ‘green’ created by Cain’s tribe.

What’s green in this concert zone? Turf, that is artificial grass? Green banners? If the government wanted to create something green, why didn’t it increase Ta’ Qali’s tree cover, improve biodiversity, and maybe include a sports village where adults, children and families can participate in free sports? But no! We need money to do the talking while bullshit walks so to encash the few but sell it as green to the naive. A large, unsanitary concert area is more crucial. This is just Ta’ Qali being more commercialized after they ruined Floriana with past concerts. With this, more noise will be brought to the Rabat area. This country lacks peace.

Meanwhile Ta’ Qali looks like another warzone. The surrounding ring road still lacks proper lighting. Parts of its surface are really in a bad state. Truly the infrastructure is so bad and has been this bad for ages! The road leading to the football stadium is a joke on its own. And Ta’ Qali is not a safe space for families, children and pedestrians either, especially with the drag racing bullies. Ta’ Qali has become the forlorn place where everything is dumbed.

The timing of the inauguration is also another maneuver pre-election and it is done on purpose to sway a significant portion of the population – especially those who like to have their brains washed with entertainment which they call ‘music culture.’

How nice it feels to know that another €16 million were added to the exponentially rising national debt so to make the bankers happy. But as long as it is done for ‘the public good’, it does not matter. Who cares about the future that our children have to endure thanks to the criminal actions of the current governments? Malta is not that far to see a collapse due to being ridden in a colossal debt and it is heading towards a downward spiral financial crunch.

But those who will never see beyond their fallacies, the government cares for them and so, one cannot criticise its good deeds.

Isn’t it enough for the Labour government to launder the money for hospitals in this island where money talks while bullshit walks?
