Ian Borg has lied to you – Malta approved unanimously as Associate Member of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO, thanks to Randolph Debattista

In a press release published yesterday on the government’s website, this was announced:

“Malta approved unanimously as Associate Member of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO”

Tooth-fairy Randolph Debattista, your MP, stated that “action shouldn’t be defensive but pre-emptive” – meaning “serving or intended to prevent attack by disabling the enemy” and to disable the enemy, you need to attack. Debattista is speaking of attack.

This means that the Maltese Constitution, which guarantees peace and neutrality, has been thrown out.

This means that while the vast majority of us support our country’s military neutrality, Foreign Affairs Minister Ian Borg has lied to you when he was questioned by Times of Malta “on the eve of the official launch of Malta’s take-over of the world’s largest regional security body,” and said that “Malta is not being pressured to join NATO.”
