In the political game of distraction from the destruction of a nation, Malta is endowed with two political parties whose politicians are still stuck somewhere between infancy and puberty.
“Prime Minister Robert Abela and Opposition Leader Bernard Grech have gone head-to-head in two separate political rallies where they branded each other’s party as the “establishment“.
Abela has maintained the PL’s underdog narrative, saying that ‘people in the south know who the establishment is’ while Grech said that ‘he who has been in government for 11 years’ is the real ‘establishment’.”

This is just childish and immature spat about what constitutes ‘the Establishment.’ They are both fooling you with the ‘blame game’ of who is the establishment.
And their childish and immature behavior is a symptom of what is wrong in this country. It is another smokescreen to hide the truth.
The truth is that none of them is ‘the establishment.’ If we want to dissect ‘the establishment,’ we can say that both parties are just frontmen and puppets of those who have hijacked them and who pull their strings from the back. And yet, the people did not vote for this establishment.

Local politics is a joke. It hates direct democracy but gives you the illusion that you are living in one. We are not living in a democracy. Local politics controls how people think through its de facto monopoly of broadcasting, compromised mainstream media, ousting new parties and new trains of thought.
Local politics has turned us into a nation of beggars and servants of the state by strengthening a culture of favours and strengthening dependence on the state in return for votes. The Marxist Communist Fabian Socialists’ modus operandi.
Local politics has turned the Maltese nation into a flock of mindless sheep by propagating an education system that creates parrots, instead of critical thinkers. Public schooling has become an extension of the government instead of an extension of the individual, and the family. Through this dead educational system that has been infiltrated, children’s lives and their futures are being controlled through the deeply ingrained system of political nepotism and cronyism of the crooks and cronies of both political parties.
The irony is that in 2024, the Maltese nation is less independent than it was in 1964.
The irony is that in 2024, the Maltese nation will have fulfilled a politicians’ agenda – that of interdependence.
