This site has been informed that some appointments are being shifted to the hospital in Gozo.

People of all ages, including the elderly, have to wake up early to take the Gozo ferry to be seen to in hospital because Mater Dei cannot catch up with the demand, post Covid-19 vaccine rollout.

To add insult to injury, this site was also informed that after a group of Maltese people, where the majority was elderly, took the ferry to Gozo to undergo a cataract surgery, which is on the rise post Covid-19 vaccine rollout, they were sent home because Gozo hospital did not have any lenses.
