“As independent investigators continue to uncover illegal abortion practices and sales of human body parts by the abortion industry, a U.S. Congressional panel held an independent hearing this week for the purpose of “investigating the black market of baby organ harvesting” through abortion.”
David Daleiden and Terrisa Bukovinac, two investigators who have spent years exposing the horrifying practices of fetal organ harvesting and trafficking, testified before the panel. The investigators gave graphic and heartbreaking testimony detailing how the “industrial-scale abortion business” targets minority babies for organ harvesting, dismembers viable babies in utero to “skirt” partial-birth abortion laws, brokers lucrative deals for fetal organs taken from live babies, and sells baby scalps for university research experiments. They added that government money is mostly used to finance this fetal organ harvesting.
The hearing’s purpose, according to panel leader and convenor Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), was “to conduct oversight and explore potential legislative action that could be pursued in light of these illegal practices.” Representatives Mary Miller (R-IL) and Chip Roy (R-TX) were also on the panel.
In 2015, Daleiden, the founder of the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), and Sandra Merritt published films that exposed Planned Parenthood and other organ procurement firms about aborted baby body parts during a 30-month undercover investigation. The tapes featured executives connected to Planned Parenthood negotiating over the cost of aborted baby body parts and talking about how they alter abortion protocols to get more organs that are still intact. The first undercover journalists to face criminal charges for recording in the public interest about California’s past are Daleiden and Merritt.

Pro-Life San Francisco and Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising are advocacy groups against abortion-related violence, and both were founded by Bukovinac. Her research resulted in the discovery of 110 first-trimester and five late-term newborns who were the victims of infanticide and late-term abortion outside of an abortion facility in Washington, D.C.
Greene stated at the outset of the hearing that the goal was to talk about abortion since “most people refuse” to talk about it, rather than to criticize women for having one. She added that the abortion industry is essentially unregulated by the federal government.
Greene stated, “No women are being condemned today, we’re talking about what an abortion actually is. It’s the murder of a child. It’s the murder of a human being.”
