The sad story of the sexual abuse by men in the entertainment industry of Corey Feldman and Corey Haim

Corey Feldman is an American actor who, at a younger age, became famous for roles in the 1980s films like ‘Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter’, ‘Gremlins’, ‘The Goonies’, and ‘Stand by Me’.

He was one of the first to speak up about the paedophile ring in Hollywood, as was even reported by The Guardian:

In 1987, he co-starred in the horror film ‘Lost Boys’ with Corey Haim, who became his best friend, going on to become known as ‘The Two Coreys’ and they went on to appear in other films together like ‘License to Drive’ and ‘Dream a Little Dream’.

They became enormously successful and famous:

But the price was high. They were sexually abused by various adults they worked with. An American documentary film ‘My Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys’ was released in 2020 showcasing the sexually abuse that both, as children to young adolescents, suffered by several men connected to the entertainment industry. They were passed around in Hollywood parties, that resulted in great trauma that got buried in their relief through alcohol and drugs:

This led to the death of Corey Haim, at the age of 38:

It was later, specifically in 2020, that Feldman called out his abusers, as reported in The Guardian.

His claims were supported by Elijah Wood, the actor who became famous for his part as Frodo in ‘The Lord of the Rings’:

Elijah had his mother’s protection, not allowing him to attend any parties where the majority of the sexual abuse, took place.
