On 19th January 2023 at a press conference at the War Memorial Centre in Napier Hawke’s Bay previous prime minister for New Zealand Jacinda Ardern announced her resignation as the 40th prime minister of New Zealand and leader of the Labour Party.
Ardern was a global icon for the left-leaning politics. She was one of Klaus Schwab’s young global leaders and during her time in office she also campaigned for decriminalizing abortion. Her popularity wained domestically with some questioning how long she would remain in power despite her high global profile. Her labour party slid in the polls by rising living costs growing crime and social issues. In a nutshell Ardern was also endorsing the liberal politics of the woke.
Critics say that she stepped down to give the Labour party time to refresh to reposition itself ahead of an election next October but it might backfire. The party’s weak standing in the polls may discourage the party’s best potential leaders throwing their hats in the ring so soon before an election could worsen their chances at the ballot box. But her resignation can also give a boost to the conservative national party.
Her successor has inherited an economy gripped by stubbornly high inflation and workforce shortages thanks to the fact that Ardern endorsed the Great Reset agenda of Covid-19. According to the Reserve Bank of New Zealand the country will be in recession when it goes to the polls in the month of October. So Jacinda’s tearful resignation came just in time before she had to face an election during the time when her country which she led into recession will be going through the same recession!
How funny it is that suddenly some of those prime ministers involved in the pandemic are resigning… from Boris Johnson to Giuseppe Conte to Mario Draghi and now Jacinda Ardern.
Christopher John Hipkins took Jacinda Ardern’s place leading the New Zealand Labour Party and serving as the 41st prime minister. He has been the member of Parliament for Remutaka since the 2008 election. Hipkins served in opposition as Labour’s education spokesperson.
But here is Hipkins a year ago while still as a Response minister saying that the government will be chasing out people who haven’t got the Covid-19 vaccine in the communism timeline:
“I think early next year (that is 2023) we will be in the phase of chasing up people who haven’t come forward to get their vaccination or have missed their bookings and so on. So everyone will be able to get a vaccine between now and the end of the year but of course you know I want every New Zealander to come forward but human behaviour suggests that there will be some people that we have to actually really go out and look for and some of that may spill into next year but our commitment is that everyone will have the opportunity to get the vaccine by the end of the year. Everyone will. But I can’t say that we’re not going to have some hesitant people or some people who just haven’t come forward that we don’t have to go out and find next year.”
Any next government or leader is a change in drivers on a train. The train is going where it is scheduled to go on rails already laid.
