On 21st June 2021 the FDA approved the first oral blood thinning medication for children ahead of the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out for children.
This medication called Pradaxa is the first of its kind that children can take by mouth. It is a medication that was approved for adults back in 2010 in order to reduce the risk of stroke and systematic embolism in adults with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. The only other approved blood thinner for children is administered via injection.
In a statement Ann Farrell M.D. director of the Division of Non-Malignant Hematology in the FDA’s centre for Drug Evaluation and Research said:
“The FDA is committed to helping our youngest patients with serious medical conditions have treatments that are relatively easy to take. With today’s approval of Pradaxa pediatric patients have another therapeutic option to treat and prevent potentially deadly blood clots.”[1]
And while they sell you the cure for the symptoms instead of treating or eliminating the cause the FDA also gives a series of adverse reactions that this Pradaxa procures. These are digestive system symptoms and bleeding which can be serious and fatal. In addition early treatment discontinuation may increase the risk of blood clots.
On the FDA’s website which I remind you that it is an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services we read that blood clots can be dangerous in both children and adults. Children who have cancer congenital heart disease a central venous catheter or are admitted to an intensive care unit are most at risk for blood clots. Complications of venous thromboembolism include swelling and discomfort near the clot chest pain lung damage and even death.
Is the FDA preparing the public for a rise in blood clotting in children after being vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccines considering that the approval of Pradoxa came ahead of the vaccine roll-out for children? Is the FDA predicting complication of venous thromboembolism in children together with congenital heart diseases and cancers due to the vaccines?
