Christian athletes give praise to Jesus Christ for all their accomplishments.
It’s God who promotes you or humbles you.
All things work together for His good and glory. Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Accolades in sport mean nothing if you do it for your own glory. Athletes are not in the sport scene to gain accolades for themselves and to gain fame. It is God who give athletes such opportunites to glorify Him.
Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
