On Friday, September 6, a source told Izvestia that a seven-month-old baby in Moscow passed away three days after receiving a vaccination.
The girl’s temperature increased a little while after receiving the Pentaxin vaccination on September 2, the source claims. The required medical care was given at home by the ambulance that the parents had summoned.
A cardiologist was keeping an eye on the girl, who had a “atrial septal defect,” according to the Izvestia source. The infant could not be saved, though. Acute heart failure was the first suspected cause of death.
The incident is currently being investigated. To ascertain the causes, the body was sent to the Forensic Medical Examiner Bureau.
