The “inclusion” of a transgender means the exclusion of actual women in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will be held from 28 August to 8 September with around 4400 athletes competing in 22 sports.

Fifty-year-old sprinter Valentina Petrillo is set to become the first openly transgender athlete to compete in the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. He will be competing in the T12 200m and 400m.

His physical impairment is that of Stargardt’s syndrome which I presume falls under the vision impairment in the IPC [International Paralympic Committee] eligibility requirements.

World Para Athletics’ regulations state “that any athlete who is legally recognized as a woman can compete.” It is the law and the State which have been given the authority to recognize your gender. Forget it if you were born a man or a woman. The State and its laws have become god.

Prior to starting his medical transition, he raced in the male T12 category for athletes with visual impairment between 2015 and 2018 and won 11 national titles. Of course. He is a man after all.

Last year, the athlete competed at the World Para Athletics Championships in the women’s category and won two bronze medals. What a guy!

During an interview in Paris “International Paralympic Committee (IPC), Andrew Parsons responded to news of Petrillo being selected to represent her country.”

He said: “For the moment World Para Athletics rules allow her to compete, so she will be welcome as any other athlete. [Petrillo] will be welcome as any other athlete. I think it is just fair that we treat [transgender athletes] respectfully.”

But other athletes are not truly being welcomed and no, they are not being treated respectfully. Is it fair to have one participating athlete who has grown up with levels of testosterone that greatly impact muscle mass and being a man, racing with women? How can this ever be on a level playing field if one participating athlete has grown up with levels of testosterone that greatly impact muscle mass in their early development? How can it be a level playing field when men have larger lung volumes and larger hearts than females?

The World Para Athletics is discriminating against other female athletes running in the same category for the sake inclusion of a transgender men. The female athletes are being disadvantaged.

Hang on I thought the saying was inclusion and fairness? Or are they just doing inclusion now?

This is exclusion at the expense of the inclusion of the LBTIQA+ agenda. His “inclusion” means the exclusion of actual women.

All this inclusion is getting out of hand.

We are not all the same and all the trans should compete in their own category.

This is the definition of “man-splaning” and “man-ipulation.” These people are to be given their own category and compete with other people who are confused about their gender and stay out of the categories of women who aren’t confused about their biology.
