God promises us to supply us with all our needs

God promises us to supply us with all our needs. What we don’t have now, we don’t need now.

We are all work in progress and we are all faith in the working and work in faith. Hence the rebirth in Christ on a daily basis. Hence a new born Christian.

But you can’t walk with God if you’re dancing with the devil. You have to choose. You cannot drink from the devil’s cup if you want to serve God.

Pray because God listens.

What matters most? While some of us ask ourselves that question every day, others only do it once in their lifetime. Listed here are a few items that make the list of priorities. I’m sure you could add more items to this list, such as food, clothing, gas, rent or mortgage, electricity, and so on. However, God is aware that you require these items.

“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:31-33 NIV)

Are you continuing to stay in God’s word and in close proximity to Him so that He might provide for your needs? Some of us make the mistake of believing that it’s critical to possess what our neighbours possess.

““You shall not covet your neighbour’s house. You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbour.”” (Exodus 20:17 NIV)

Really, do you need what your neighbours have? How much stuff that you never ever use is stacked up in your closets, garage, and cupboards? God will provide for our needs; he did not promise to provide for our wants.

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 NIV)

Some people make the mistake of believing that we must have our next drink, hit, or other recreational substance that makes us feel good. However, God is what we really need, not that. God ought to be your greatest source of joy. God ought to come first.

“Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” (Matthew 22:37-38 NIV)

Therefore, brothers and sisters in Christ, perhaps you should ask God if something is a necessity or a want the next time you feel like it’s really important or that you really need it.

Today, go forth and bless people. Blessings to all of you.
