Some months ago, the Minister for Environment, Energy, and Enterprise, Miriam Dalli, “published Malta’s first decarbonisation strategy, in which the government is aiming to achieve a zero carbon footprint by 2050, primarily by replacing its fleet of vehicles with electric cars.”
While fielding questions at the launch of a new climate change awareness campaign, she also stated that the government’s “focus should be on battery electric vehicles—those that don’t pollute” and that since “hybrid vehicles still rely, at least partially, on traditional engines” and that this, “was not in line with the EU-wide direction of phasing out the combustion engine,” the government’s funding must move away from hybrids to fully electric options.
“The campaign, Climate On 2022, will run until October, and Dalli said it is focused on getting the public to tweak their lifestyles to reduce pollution.”
I love the doublespeak. The government is offering you more bait to lure you into the EU’s agenda in a campaign focused on your compliance so that you are moulded to fit the agenda to be controlled. But they call the bait ‘incentive,’ you see!
What Minister Dalli and the Labour government do not tell you is that according to the Italian media portal Il Giornale, even though 332,999 new electric vehicles were registered, which is an additional 3.8% compared to 2023, there is a clear collapse of electric vehicles in the European Union, which recorded -11.3% (134,397 units): of the three most important BEV markets, the best numbers were recorded in Belgium (+23.8% ) and France (+10.9%). The decline was heavy in Germany, which recorded -28.9%.
Minister Miriam Dalli must have such hindsight while walking blindfolded with the stick of the evil EU agendas, funded by the same EU. If people are not given carrots, how can they be manipulated to be driven to the control room?
Minister Miriam Dalli’s lack of hindsight fails to tell you this information, so to make you fall for the electric cars gimmick!
Driving proudly and happily around with your electric vehicle does not make you an environmentalist. Instead, you are driving a car whose manufacturing is environmentally damaging, with its lithium-ion batteries and mining, through child labour, while you have turned yourself into yet another government controlled cooomplier.
