The English O’level exam mistake. Are papers checked by a third party in the ministry?

This site has been informed that in the English O’level exam, done yesterday, there was an exercise where students had to choose a word from box A and box B, while being advised that there should remain one extra word in each box. But in Box B there was a missing word so there was no extra word.

Such a disgrace when these are national examinations and not only should those in charge of doing the paper be extra careful but each paper must be checked by a third party.

I hope this mistake will be accounted for when allotting marks.
