The digital public infrastructure has been rolled out in Russia – and it is also through the registering of chickens

The digital public infrastructure has been rolled out in Russia as from 1st March. And, just out of pure coincidence, it has been imposed through farming. What is the reason? It is the same that was applied for the UK – that is, the avian flu.

A decree issued by the Russian government mandates that farm animals be marked as of March 1. Cattle, poultry, horses, bees, fur-bearing animals, camels, deer, rabbits, and fish are among the creatures that must be marked. The deadlines for each animal type differ; for pigs and cattle, the earliest date is September 1, 2024. In the field of veterinary medicine, the marking system—also referred to as the Horriot system—is a component of the Federal State Information System. Administrative responsibility may result from noncompliance for both persons and legal bodies.

This approach will be similar to the one existing in the pig industry, where it has proved its value in combating African Swine Fever. There must always be a disease that is put in between. If not, how can they gain control over farmers without the usual lie that they are doing it to protect them?

According to the plan, all chicken farms would be divided into four groups, or compartments, based on the degree of biological protection each one offers. Farms with a low or inadequate biological protection level are assigned to compartments 1 and 2, and farms with a normal protection level are assigned to compartment 3.

The Ministry said, “[These will involve] simplified export procedures, improving the epizootiological situation at poultry farming facilities, and ensuring the veterinary safety of poultry products.” Where did we hear ‘for your safety’ in these last three years?

“The draft regulation indicates how the owner can apply for inspection of poultry production facilities to determine their animal health status. The authorities revealed that the Russian veterinary agencies would carry out the inspection free of charge.”

Food is being controlled. Farming is being controlled. There is war on food. There is war on farming. And it all started with yet another excuse of a disease. But always remember that anything they plan for you, is for your health and safety. Do you recall something similar that happened in these last three years?

Clearly, the public digital infrastructure has been implemented in Russia too, and they started with farming.
