Canada is paying more for everything after eight years under Justin Trudeau’s leadership. Due to Trudeau’s carbon tax, many families are barely making ends meet as the cost of transportation, groceries, and heating has increased. In spite of this, Trudeau planned to double the carbon tax, and on April 1st, he raised this tax by another 23%.
The last thing that Canadians require is this. More quickly than at any other point in the previous 40 years, food costs are growing. In addition to the record-high number of visits food banks received last year, Canadians are already paying $700 more for food in 2024 than they did in the previous year. It is evident that Justin Trudeau lacks understanding of the fact that taxing the farmer who grows food and the trucker who ships it increases the costs incurred by the family that purchases it.
It is obvious that Canadians require relief—not higher taxes. Seven Premiers, including the Liberal Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, have requested the Liberal Government to increase Trudeau’s most recent tax increases, despite the fact that over 70% of Canadians are against it.
The Canadians must figure out that they are going to starve if they don’t figure out that they’re the carbon that Justin Trudeau and his government want to reduce.
