Americans are also becoming third country nationals in their country: prepaid debit cards are being distributed to illegal immigrants in NYC

In the third week of March, “the Adams administration launched its program to give prepaid debit cards to New York City migrants” — “two months after inking a controversial no-bid $53 million contract for the deal.”

As part of a pilot initiative that will grow to 115 cards by next week, employees of the New Jersey-based company Mobility Capital Finance distributed eight preloaded Mastercards at the Roosevelt Hotel on Monday, according to a representative for City Hall.

“The one-year deal came under fire after The Post first revealed the contract was inked without a typical bidding process.”

According to the deal, the initiative might be beneficial for the tech start-up, with the possibility of earning $1.8 million by taking a percentage of the money loaded onto each Mastercard.

Originally intended to load the cards with a month’s worth of money for groceries and infant supplies, the administration backed out of the plan. Now, money will need to be added every week.

“The pilot program will cover about 460 out of the 64,500 migrants in the city’s care as City Hall evaluates its success.”

Excuse me, what about all the Americans living in poverty? How about all the Americans who are struggling?

Clearly, even Americans are becoming third country nationals in their country.
