The beautiful and peaceful Malta we had: Mscala

This is an aerial view of Marsascala when the St. Thomas Tower or Fort Saint Thomas was the sole glory one could see, surrounded by fields.

This is the peaceful, stress-free Malta which we have lost in a few tens of years, and it wasn’t by our choice.

From a beautiful, small island, with the right number of inhabitants living in quaint villages, Malta was turned into one cosmopolitan city. Its rural life is gone and the people were forced to accept the urban, with its hustle and bustle, surrounded by big boxes of concrete.
