When vice president Lyndon B. Johnson warned in a speech in 1962: those who control the weather, control the world

Following the “CIA Memorandum on Climate Control“‘s covert publication in 1960, US president John F. Kennedy and vice president Lyndon B. Johnson addressed both closed and public audiences regarding climate control.

Here is Lyndon B. Johnson’s speech:

“As a result I think the people in the Congress are going to support it cause first taking this steps now that will make us no longer second in space and lays the predicate and the foundation or a base communication satellite that will permit the people of the world to see one television program with the same design throughout the world. Think about that kind of communication and think about the opportunity that will provide a good layer, the development of weather satellite, that will permit man to determine the worlds cloud layer and ultimately to control the weather and he who controls the weather, controls the world.”
