Because of the writings of their opponents, the Bavarian Illuminati have cast a long shadow in popular history.
Memoirs Illustrating the History of Jacobinism, published in 1797 by Abbé Augustin Barruél, outlined a vivid theory involving the Knights Templar, the Rosicrucians, the Jacobins, and the Illuminati.
In 1798, John Robison, a Scottish Mason and professor of natural history, began publishing Proofs of a Conspiracy Against All the Religions and Governments of Europe. Robison claimed to have proof of an Illuminati conspiracy to replace all religions with humanism and all nations with a single global government.
Antony C. Sutton proposed that the secret society Skull and Bones was founded as the American branch of the Illuminati; others believe Scroll and Key originated with the Illuminati as well. According to writer Robert Gillette, the Illuminati’s ultimate goal is to establish a world government through assassination, bribery, blackmail, control of banks and other financial powers, infiltration of governments, mind control, and causing wars and revolutions to advance their own people in the political hierarchy.
Thomas Jefferson, on the other hand, claimed that they wished to disseminate information as well as the principles of true morality. He attributed the Illuminati’s secrecy to what he called “the tyranny of a despot and priests.” Both appear to agree that the Illuminati’s enemies were European monarchs and the Church (but not the Jesuits); Barruél claimed that the French Revolution (1789) was engineered and controlled by the Illuminati through the Jacobins, and later other theorists have claimed their responsibility for the Russian Revolution (1917), despite the fact that the order was officially closed down in 1790. Few historians believe these claims; they see them as the result of overactive imaginations.
Several sources claim that the Bavarian Illuminati survived and may still exist today. Conspiracy theorists emphasize the Illuminati’s connection to Freemasonry. It is also suggested that the founding fathers of the United States, some of whom were Freemasons, were corrupted by the Illuminati. The all-seeing pyramid symbol in the United States Great Seal is frequently cited as an example of the Illuminati’s ever-present watchful eye over Americans. There is very little reliable evidence that Weishaupt’s group survived into the nineteenth century.
However, several groups have since claimed to be the Illuminati and used the name Illuminati to found their own rites. Such organizations include David Goldman’s Grand Lodge Rockefeller (USA), Gabriel López de Rojas’ Orden Illuminati and The Illuminati Order of Solomon Tulbure (USA).
Gabriel López de Rojas founded the Illuminati Order in Barcelona, Spain, in 1995, after developing the Operative Rite of The Illuminati of Bavaria. This Rite is based on the Illuminati Rite and high degrees of the Scottish Rite of 33 degrees. The Redism is the system of its Illuminati Grand Master, Gabriel López de Rojas. This system is founded on the lemma HOMO EST DEUS, which means “man is god.” Groups calling themselves the Illuminati claim to have members and chapters (lodges) all over the world. Around the time the Illuminati were outlawed in Bavaria, the Roman Catholic Church forbade its members from joining Masonic lodges under penalty of excommunication.

This was implemented as a broad directive, as the Church suspected numerous lodges had been compromised and manipulated by the Illuminati, although they were unable to precisely identify which ones had been compromised. It wasn’t until the late 20th century that this rule was loosened.
Unbeknownst from many, the JESUIT ORDER have secret relationship and intimate connections with the Illuminatis. Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the JESUIT ORDER, expressed sympathy for the Allumbrados, the Spanish Illuminatis, as part of a covert relationship and close ties with the Illuminatis. Additionally, Adam Weishaupt, a Jesuit, founded the Bavarian Illuminatis.
It is also regrettable to report that a large number of the pastors and evangelists of today are not aware of these problems. They do not know about the “New World Order” of the Satanic One World Government. The Jesuit Order’s involvement in the Illuminatis and other secret societies can be found by thoroughly reviewing them.
