Israel at war after Hamas launched a surprise attack

Matthew 24:6–8: “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.”

And so we have another war. Hamas launched a surprise attack within Israel’s borders overnight, launching rockets from the Gaza Strip and then sending militants into the southern part of the streets of Israel.

Israel’s defense minister has announced the Hamas militant group has started a war against Israel amid infiltrations from paragliders, sea, and ground. Likely dozens of Israeli soldiers and civilians have been killed in Hamas terrorist attacks in southern Israel and dozens more taken captive, from videos and pictures available.

Hamas has launched rockets towards Tel Aviv, Israel.

The death toll in Israel rises to 150, with more than 1,100 injured, the Israeli health ministry says.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced, “Citizens of Israel, we are at war. Not an operation, not an escalation—a war.”

There are Israeli warplanes that have started leveling buildings in Gaza.
