Almost all freemason symbols and signs are of very ancient origin. Former Scottish Rite Freemasonry Sovereign Grand Commander Henry C. Clausen, 33°, who was appointed by President Roosevelt in 1942 to head the Commission to investigate the Pearl Harbour Attack, wrote that The Order’s footsteps run deep, and its symbols date back thousands of years:
“They arose in ancient ages. The signs, symbols, and inscriptions come to us from across long, drifting centuries and will be found in ancient Sumerian clay tablet libraries of the cities of Lir, Lagash, and others of the first true urban civilization. This, occurred about 600 years before Egypt was civilized….”
Clausen, in other words, told his Masonic readers that their signs and symbols originated in Babylon. In Revelation 13, 17, and 18, the Bible warns that the Ancient Mystery Religion of wicked Babylon will return to demonic dominance in the last days. So here was Clausen, the international chieftain of the Masonic Lodge, informing us of the Babylonian origins of his Illuminist Order’s secret symbols and signs.
When we realize that the elite claim that their symbols are infused with dynamic life – that they are real things, active images that make, testify, and create – we begin to understand the powerful and explosive meaning that the Illuminati endow their signs and symbols with. They consist of more than geometric shapes, architectural patterns, lines, and circles. Their signs and symbols are colorful and creative. They are thoughtforms and archetypes. To summarize, they are authentic and useful items. As a result, the ‘image of the beast,’ which is said to move and speak in the end times, comes to mind.
