In Italy a “pizza proteica” that is “protein pizza” started being sold at Lidl too at the price of 2.29. The Italian customers and consumers were concerned whether this “pizza proteica” was made out of insect flour since usually pizza is more associated with carbohydrates. The package did not have such information written so customers and consumers were double concerned and asked if there will be cases where insects and insect flour are included in food without actually being listed as part of the ingredients.
